A Travelogue

neon texts on three doors, Swedish Cultural Foundation, Helsinki, commission, 2012

A Travelogue (En reseberättelse) is a commissioned work to the offices of the Swedish Cultural Foundation in Finland in Helsinki, Finland. The work consists of three doors with handwritten texts in neon. The texts are written in Swedish. Curator Sofia Aittomaa invited four artists to the Sesame project to create artwork on the doors of the offices.

”She had been a guest in their home, a temporary visitor in their common life”
”She had become invisible, like a forgotten piece of furniture in a corner.”
”This was the fourth window that she looked trough, the fourth landscape she looked at, before she arrived home. Finally.”
